Backrooms
A downloadable game for Windows
You weren't supposed to end up here. But you did, and now there's nothing around you but yellow wallpaper, stained carpet, and the low hum of fluorescent lights that never turn off.
No map. No compass. Just corridors that loop back on themselves and messages scratched into the walls by people who came before you. "Follow the arrows. Almost there. There is no exit." Someone was trying to help. Someone else wasn't so sure.
Your only tools are a flashlight and whatever courage you have left. The darkness at the end of every hallway isn't hiding anything, or maybe it is. You'll have to walk toward it to find out.
Something about this place feels wrong. Not just the layout, not just the silence, something else. Keep moving.
Find the exit. If there is one.

Good game; will it have more levels or different zones? :)
Thanks so much! Yes, this was just a demo. I’m currently working on new levels for the full version. Stay tuned!
Why this steal music from escape the backrooms?
Ah, good catch, didn’t realize that music wasn’t cleared for use. Swapping it out for something properly licensed now, thanks for pointing it out!
Fixed! Swapped in properly licensed audio and pushed a new update. Thanks again for flagging it.
nice, can't wait to play :)
For being only a demo, this seems pretty promising so far! Great graphics, sound design, tension, etc. Cannot wait to see whats in the full game! Made a video on it.
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed my game! Comments like this really help motivate me to keep going with the full version.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it!
Really appreciate this! Glad the arrows/tips helped guide you without breaking the immersion too much. Thanks for playing it all the way through!
